Common questions

How do I connect or reconnect a company?
  1. Open the client’s page for the consolidation group.
  2. Choose Connect to QuickBooks and sign in to that company. Repeat for each company in the group.

We only read from it until you explicitly approve a fix. If a connection stops working, reconnect from the client’s page.

What happens when I disconnect?

Open the company on its client’s page in Flatbooks and choose Disconnect. You can also disconnect in QuickBooks under Settings → Apps.

This revokes our access token at Intuit. Once disconnected, we no longer access that company’s data.

Before disconnecting

Disconnecting also removes the intercompany confirmations you made for that company, including any recorded on your other companies. Reconnecting doesn’t bring them back; you’d confirm those accounts again.

Posted fixes and their history are kept.

How do I approve or undo a fix?
  1. Preview the exact journal entry, then approve it to post to QuickBooks.
  2. To undo it, open Fix history on the client’s page and choose Undo.

Nothing is written without your approval. Fixes are ordinary QuickBooks journal entries your client’s accountant can review.

How do I manage billing or request a refund?

Paid plans are billed monthly. Manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings.

We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. Email us within 60 days for a full refund. See the Terms for details.

How do I delete my account and data?

Use Delete account in your account settings, or email us. We’ll remove your data and revoke connected QuickBooks tokens.

Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
